I have two cats, a small calico we call Grandma and a much bigger and rounder guy we call Berry. Grandma will eat practically anything that she sees humans eat, she has stolen whole ears of corn and tried to drag them off and taken entire pancakes off of a plate. I have only ever seen Berry try to steal lettuce, but he will act interested in anything he sees Grandma eating.

This is grandma helping me finish off some pudding, her tactic is to stand as close to me and stare unblinkingly right in my face.

The money that they raise at the Lil Bub meet and greets goes to cat charities.

Since before she was a star she has made it a point to spread a message of positivity. She proves that being different is better and she encourages the adoption of pets and helping those less fortunate. To date Lil BUB has directly raised more than $60,000 for various charities through her online store and meet-and-greets at animal shelters all of the country while spreading awareness about the importance of adoption, and spaying and neutering your pets.

Anyone have any "one/two paw out" lying down cat poses? Where they are simultaneously looking dainty as hell, yet saying "yes, this is mine"? You know the pose.

My Henry Cat freaking loves to make a nest out of my boyfriend's pants when he comes to visit and leaves them on the floor. In Henry Cat's defense, he does this with my pants as well, but boyfriend's pants are an extra special treat.

One of my cats does the "one paw out" pose all the time, on any surface. I only have one picture of proof, though:

That is his pose of choice. Either paw out is fine. I interpret it as: "Yo, I'm here. :what:" The black spot over his eyes à la emo bangs might be influencing me.

The cat video event was hilarious by the way because the crowd was getting angry and restless at the local musicians and other poo poo that the Walker tried to bring in as opposed to just showing us the loving cat videos we paid for. At one point the coordinator was trying to talk about how this was about more than "just cats" while the crowd in the background chanted "CATS CATS CATS CATS CATS".

The guy who owns Bub posted a message in regards to questions like this:

quote:

It’s me. BUB’s dude.
BUB’s health and comfort are my main priority. Please understand she is very different from other cats. She loves to travel, and is comfortable in planes, cars and hotel rooms. She is not skittish, or nervous, and she is not afraid of anything besides really loud applause and other cats. We travel often, and I am very sensitive to her comfort, mood, and well-being. Sure, she gets tired just like I do. And that’s why we limit the amount of people and the length of time of her meet and greets. I also make sure there is a vet on call, that there are plenty of volunteers to help control the crowds, and a quiet and safe place for BUB to relax (in addition to having plenty of food, water and a litter box, of course). If at any time I fell like BUB is not up for any of this, I will cancel the event without hesitation (and I have done so in the past). I know BUB’s fans would understand.
I have talked extensively with my vet and specialists and they all agree that these trips are safe for BUB so long as she is feeling well. And at the moment, she is feeling better than ever. In fact, she is usually feeling best when we travel because she gets to move around more, stays stimulated, and more active, which is great for her muscles, her joints and her mood.
I would never dream of doing anything like this with any of my other four cats (they would freak out as soon as I put them in a carrier), and I do not recommend that people take their cats on these kinds of trips because travel is usually very stressful for them. But BUB truly is one of a kind, and anyone that’s met her or has been to a meet-and-greet can tell you that she is safe and happy.
I don’t blame people for being concerned. If she wasn’t my own cat, and I didn’t know her as intimately as I do, I would probably be worried as well. So I appreciate your concern, but want you to know that she’s in really good hands. Even with all of her hundreds of thousands of fans, no one cares about her more than I do.
