I'm cookie-locked. I'm not gonna buy more stuff before getting the Covenant because I don't want to give it 10%, but the pledges are still at too great a price to pass up, so all I'm doing is accumulating cookies.

centrism is a hell of a drug

One Mind and Communal Brainsweep must do more than they say they do right? Unless my math is horribly wrong. Say I have 150 grandmas, and I buy Communal Brainsweep. So it should add 3 base CpS to each grandma, for a total of +750 CpS. My multiplier right now is 452.8%. 452.8% of 750 is 3396. But when I bought it my CpS jumped by around 12 million. What am I missing?

Look at all the other upgrades, grandmas get a lot of doubling and quadrupling ones now, and they all stack multiplicatively.

EDIT: Also the descriptions on those are probably inaccurate as per the notes on the last couple of updates.

yeah I guess I didn't include all of that stuff or milk (if milk is separate from your multiplier, which I don't know).

There are 9 grandma doublers.

If you have 150 grandmas with all the doublers getting +1 Cps per 50 grandmas gives 1536 per grandma before milk and flavors.

I'm pretty sure the game has granted me some upgrades that I never bought. I have definitely only bought 2 milk upgrades but it lists 3 in my unlocks screen.

VV I already have 8.

There is an unending sea of grandma doublers, a infinite hellscape of doubler spires woven out of flesh as a tribute to the almighty Cookie. And exactly one Quadrupler that roams the realm, searching for some unknown lost emotion.

Nah, the code had those news 'items' simply for having a certain amount of cookies, or something like that.

The only one for that achievement is one that directly states something like 'cookie maker downsizes, sells own grandmother'.

And then there's a 'riches to rags' story for getting the reset achievements.

senae posted:

It would be fantastic if that was the real trigger to cause the grandmapocalypse. No one would ever know.

So is the 10% cps Covenant thing a one-time payment, or a negative multiplier that applies to everything? The fact that you can toggle it makes me think it's the latter, in which case it's still correct to keep raising your cps while you wait for Pledges to no longer be worth it.

I just saw a red cookie.

I clicked it.

+6 cookies yay!

Another one came on my screen...

+66 cookies

And another...+666 cookies...and another...and another...and another...

And then the last one, Ruin! Lost over 10 billion cookies. Please let there be another one to take all my cookies, now and forevermore, I want out, get the cookies away from me :gonk:

By the way, the blood cookie only takes 10 minutes worth of cookies, not 30. By my calculations, the blood cookie isn't too much worse than the golden cookie, provided you don't gently caress up a chain. Assuming a chain is worth 4 trillion cookies a blood cookie is worth around 97% of a golden cookie.

edit: The blood cookie's value goes down compared to the golden cookie as your cps rises. At around 600 million cps the golden cookie becomes more valuable, and at 1 billion cps the golden cookie is worth 20% more.
