This might qualify me for whiny baby status, but I might end up skipping BF4 because it's still possible for a full squad to pop out of someones rear end while you're shooting them. That's still lovely.

This i'm enjoying so far. - Good VOIP service in game - The water looks amazing - I love the transition from normal speed to sprinting - The new boats are great - How ammo is now handled for vehicles I stilll have to get my head around some other things, but overall a nice improvement over BF3 so far.

Remember when BC2 first came out and everyone hated it and thought it was the worst BF game ever and  just took to copying Calling Duties and 2142 was the best BF game ever made?And then when 2142 came out everyone hated it and thought it was just a half-rear end piece of crap anyone could have made with the BF2 mod tools but had the audacity to sell it for $50 anyway and BF2 was the best BF game ever made?Or when BF2 came out and everyone hated it and said that it was a pile of poo poo compared to the vastly superior Desert Combat so should just stand aside and let modders do all their work for them and 1942 was the best BF game ever made?I'm quite shocked that the thread has an overall positive reaction to this game. It's kinda unreal.

drat. I played once this morning and now I can't get past the game loading. It loads up and then switches to the black screen that has loading in the upper right and sits for a couple minutes and then crashes.

Ambient Occlusion destroying your framerate while not actually doing anything. (possible feature) People being stuck in 1 health purgatory and have to rejoin the server. Joining on a friend renders you unable to join squads once you get into game. Leaving Battlelog open while in game sometimes causes your game to run like rear end (could be browser related).

Holy poo poo, I did not think this game would be anything more than a repackaging of BF3 & a cash grab. Totally wrong. Amazing physX, tighter netcode (way less lag even on european servers), better ambiance. I see this game going places.

Solutions include either going into the direct x redist folder in your origin directory and moving all the zips to a new folder, installing windows updates, updating the drivers, and "waiting for the problem to fix itself" I think that last one did it for me? It just seems really touch and go.

Well Dice has never employed a single tester or QA employee so this feedback is very useful. I love the "fix framerate by setting process to low priority" bug. Awesome! I know I'm not the first to complain about this but yeah just seems like Battlefield 3.5 map pack. I loved loved loved and played 200 hours of BF3 but am kind of burnt out on it and am not interested in paying $60 for more of that. Maybe when I can get that and BF4 premium for $10-20.

Well my trip report. PC specs are: 3.4GHz 965 AMD 12GB Ram Radeon HD7870 Win7 Video settings:  Game runs 30-40 FPS. Ran pretty terribly until I updated to the beta drivers. The only issues I have had is the game freezing at the blurry death screen 3 times. My CPU does show all of the cores maxing or near maxing for most of the game, so guess that's where my bottleneck is.

I tried searching the thread but couldn't find anything. I got the email saying I could get into the beta, and apparently it's because I bought Medal of Honor on the PC. It isn't listed in "my games" after an Origin re-launch and I didn't see any kind of code to redeem. Am I missing something obvious?

I love how 30fps is considered good enough nowadays. Especially since 30 does not mean 30 but seesaws between 10 and 60. I wish people would just report their minimum frame rate, because that's the only thing that matters.

Camping on the roof of Delta has got to be the most annoying loving thing. Especially when your chopper keeps getting spawn killed by the other team and you have no way to drop in on there.

Air vehicles feel awful. Auto hover fucks with your aim, they don't seem to have any inertia, and move with comical speed. Your cursor is STILL the same color as the skybox. Flares take 25 seconds to recharge, while stingers take less then 2 seconds. Can't wait for another 2 years of bad back and forth vehicle balance from the people who don't seem to want to learn from their mistakes, just lol. Just make the game infantry only and be done with it Dice, you know you want to.

Honestly this is my #1 gripe about Battlefield 3, especially because the guys who just spawned will often block your shots on the guy you're trying to kill, they can't be killed or knifed until you wait out the spawn protection, and you're now going to basically run out of ammo and die
