I wouldn't recommend doing those quests on this run then. The desert thing isn't so bad if you run from one end to the other, using sticky bombs on trucks and trailers along the way and murdering wildlife.

Think it took like 20 mins, so not the most painful thing I guess, but I just put a rubber band around the controller and let Michael run around in circles.

The one I kept failing was due to being too fast, I realized eventually. Quicksaving really helps for all of these "collectibles". Even then, the game "lost" my bike several times when I loaded a quicksave I saved while sitting on it, once it was nowhere to be found and I had to order a new one, and the other times it was in the impound lot for some reason.

From doing it, it seems that quick saving away from a road meant you'd reload without your vehicle. Roads it would always be there, dirt tracks seemed to be 50/50.

Can you not get trackers/insurance policies on cars in single player like you can in GTAO? I'm still having a hard time dealing with my cars moving all around on their own.

No I don't think so. The distance in which you can walk away from your car is pretty short before it's "towed".

And what about Strength for Franklin since he can't play Tennis?

Sounds like the best way to level up strength is beating up cows, since you don't gain a wanted level and they are non-aggressive and full of HP.

The impound sure is obnoxious. I want to keep those cars but I have to go through this stupid dance of taking a taxi to the impound lot, picking up a car, and driving it back to my garage, for every character independently.

Also, the latest single player patch sure didn't fix the problem of your personal car sometimes spawning in a parking lot across the street instead of at your safe house.

I've had that happen to me. The game still sometimes consider the sub as a vehicle you can drive around when switching characters. In my file, Trevor somehow parked that thing in the middle of Vinewood Boulevard.

I had that, then a couger jumped me and killed me.

I transition to Trevor ever chance I can since then. No-one cares about a whingy husband, but the guy waking up in a barn 3 ways drunk in his underwear is pretty fun to deal with.

Online has a lot of quality of life improvements that aren't in the Singleplayer for some reason. It's odd and disappointing to a degree.
A car tracker would be so handy offline.

The constant cops online is getting very frustrating. Just ruins the whole point of the game. Driving anything that's not your lovely starting cars is instant wanted level, shooting and loving around with players has the cops all in the way. Like its constant cops sirens online while were having gangwarfare.

I know this isn't the Online thread and I didn't see anyone follow up on this, but when you steal a car Online you have to kill the driver or they'll report it stolen and you'll get stars whenever a cop sees the stolen car.

Spent last night 22:00-3:30 playing online with a friend when PSN was finally letting me join games. Did a couple of Simeon missions and laughing our balls off chasing each other trying to retreive a stolen package.

The deathmatches are Okay, but one was 30 minutes long and that was just way too much.

The races are alright too, really like that you can pick any type of car. Which of the supercars is the fastest though? I was in the Tesla clone and in 1st place for the entire race until 100 yards in meters of the finish line when my friend just rammed my back in the Cheetah and took first place.

So can you run into the other characters while driving around? I am meaning this literally. I was driving and hit a cab going pretty fast and a man got out and opened fire on me. I swear the voice screaming at me in that moment was Trevor.

One of those is at the top of a very, very tall crane by the under-construction skyscraper downtown. I didn't have a helicopter so I spent what felt like 20 minutes climbing ladders. Seems like a perfect place to insert the Snake Eater theme.
