Story goes that the artist sent the band a work-in-progress picture with placeholder Poser models and the band loving approved said picture to be the cover.

At least Dance of Death looks like a halfway realized concept that could have been cool if they had just spent a little longer on it. I don't know who the gently caress is supposed to enjoy the Black Flag cover.

Apparently yes. I forgot that he was touring under the name. I couldn't keep track of who he was suing.

Actually I have no idea, I've never been to a show there :) I didn't even know they had shows, I thought it was just a dive bar.

Starting at 7. Barrow, Scissor Grinder, Have Mercy, Whenskiesaregray/Young and Heartless (split set), Caravels, Remus Saw VI, Dreaded, Alignak.

God how late is this gonna run.

Saw Dangers twice in Berkeley over the weekend. Love watching Al during their sets. On Saturday Calculator closed with a couple Rites Of Spring songs which pretty much made my night.

Just a heads up, "The Songs of Tony Sly: A Tribute" came out yesterday.

33 tracks. Highlights so far - Soulmate (Strung out) and everything from Joey Cape. The whole album is pretty great though.

Dangers? Nothing since Messy which was underwhelming imo. They have a 7" coming up though and the tracks I've heard from it are good. They made a video for one but it went private.

I think Messy is brilliant, and prefer it to Anger. I would love to see them live, but I haven't seen them come to the east coast, at least not while I've been in any position to go to a show.

The best use of a horse head at Pre-Fest I saw (not enough cash money for Fest proper) was someone tearing the pit up in a horse head during A Wilhelm Scream's The Horse.

Conduit
Red Handed

Vicious Cycle

Any thoughts?
