What's the ratio of cam to cam versus the one way street? Do you get a lot of requests for that, or is that not even a thing with your portal/site?

well only one person can send their cam at a time but I'd say it's about 50/50. I rarely watch unless they're doing something cool like the pencil dude. Tbh, most dicks look alike and it's rare that I'm like "Oh I want to watch you sooo bad". The size of the cam thing is about 1"x1" so it's not like I can really see anything anyway.

I normally just ban people who come in with a request / who won't pay / gets pissy when I ask for $$ in exchange for a request. Paying customers don't ask for things for free - or they pay up if they realize that they are doing that.

I mean in some ways the guys who come into my room and start chatting with me and then bust out the freeloader bullshit are the worst because it's like they're trying to get one by me by making some kind of effort to not be "that guy" who will just go in and demand something for free. At the end of the day, you're still trying to get something for free. I kind of see it as is there a difference between going into a restaurant, sitting down and saying "I'm not going to get anything to eat but can you bring me some water and bread and butter" or going in and making a point of looking through the menu, getting the bread and butter and then leaving without ordering. It's KINDA the same thing but just more tricky. You want to see something that you like because you get off on it and you know that you aren't going to pay but you're asking for it anyway. Yeah, you might not get pissed off if you don't get it and yeah, you are talking to her first but... you're still trying to get something for free while someone is working. Someone who is used to being asked for free poo poo every day, who only gets a % of what they earn for the site that they are on, and someone who is NOT getting paid to chat with you before, during, and after, your freeloading.

IMO, the guys who "chat first" are more annoying because I feel that they are tricking me and trying to get one past me. Just loving pay for what you want to see or go away forever.

I have some thought that MR is on my 'block list' :sigh:

This has been a really fun and interesting read, thanks for the awesome thread.

Some time ago I started taking photography classes and got to talking with a friend of mine from highschool. It turns out that he does a lot of work selling clips and such, but in a bit of a different manner than you've described here, and we've had an awesome deal worked out where I get to shoot his models on his paid time if I take photos for his gigs. In general, we've had a ton of fun and most of his models have been pretty fun to work with.

Basically, what he does is mostly foot fetish style things, but also some murder/dead play as well. He advertises for "shoe models" on places like Craigslists, and when they contact him he sort of hints at what's actually going on (shoeplay, mostly just fiddling with shoes, bapping them on the ground, kicking at rocks or whatever and scuffing them and such). I think most girls are scared off at this point, but the few that decide to go with it usually end up doing more than just shoeplay. He'll do a clip with them introducing themselves and saying something like, "Hi I'm -name- and I've got these awesome sneakers I'd like to sell, if you want to see more just let me know!", then people write in wanting to buy the shoes as well as buy private shoots with the girls with certain shoes which they'll then have sent to them. I think he also does a lot of business on Clips4Sale or some such.

From the outside, it all seems a bit bizarre, especially as someone that's not really into any really wacky fetishes. As the photographer, I've had to tickle girls feet on camera and that was kind of awkward and creepy and we were both laughing more out of the sheer wtfery of the whole thing than anything. I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but I'd be glad to share some of the photos from our mock murder/dead girl shoots if anyone was interested in seeing just what kind of stuff people are paying for. In this case, they're technically all work safe, except for.. you know, the 'dead' part. :ohdear:

I very rarely type... I just talk. I don't often use shorthand to type because I never got into using it. It is only very recently that I have even been using w/e or bc or anything else.

I have noticed that since I started stripping / reading less my grammar has suffered as well as my vocabulary (not as much as grammar) but yeah.

Oh no, they know completely. Basically my friend just kind of works as a middleman once he gets them going with clients that want private shoots with them, or shoes or whatever. It's kind of weird, but I guess it works for the guys that like it. I guess if, when I was in college, I had someone say to me "Hey make a 5 minute video of you crushing gummy worms and then someone will pay you $70 for your old sneakers that you're going to throw out, plus extra per shoot you do." I'd have probably done it too.

Anyway, I don't really have any 'good' stories other than stuff about falling in the mud with loads of gear while trying to take pictures of a girl in a trash bag. I almost lost $3k in camera gear on this shoot to mud: (somewhat :nws: due to depicting 'dead' girls) trashbag, leaves.

But, anyway. Lately I've also been doing some studio work for a different friend from highschool who's a dancer, and she's seen some of this stuff and has friends that do crazy complected bdsm knot tying stuff and they're all interested in having shoots done for their portfolios. As a photographer it seems that this is sort of an un-tapped markert, as most of the dancers/escort photos you see online are kind of either home-made type things, webcam shots or whatever.

To tie back to your original thread, luscious, have you ever considered having anything "professional" made for your portfolio? In your opinion, does having nicer pictures get you more business - both online and, say, in clubs where they put stuff up on the walls to show off the ladies?

I've talked about this in the thread I think. I have pretty much stopped stripping at this point and am focusing on camming. And as far as older strippers (is 30+ really considered older?) I think that they're more desirable because they're the same age, or at least closer to, than the guys who have the money. A guy who has money and wants to spend it likely doesn't want to spend it on someone who is so far removed from him and his interests that he is reminded of his granddaughter.

I don't really look at other strippers and think "wow she's so ugly" as much as I look at them and think "wow she makes a lot of money" or "wow she's on her game" or "wow she's off". The truth is that you don't have to be hot in this industry to make money and that's what I notice more than their looks. Ugliest stripper I have ever seen probably looks like just an ordinary ugly person as that's what we are...

Yeah if I was being paid for it I'm sure that I could do it and be okay with it. If I wasn't I would end the session and ban him / refuse to do it again. Like I said, at this point I'm pretty much impossible to upset by people who I don't like. respect or give authority over my feelings to. Does that make sense?

I guess after working jobs where everyone has an idea of who they think that you are and an idea of what you're like you um. get over the idea that other peoples' opinions really matter SO much and just value the people who you care about that much more.

So I thought that I would share something with you guys.

I had a customer who started seeing me when I came back to camming (September?) and went from spending 100$ on me per day to spending 300$ on me per day. I know that altogether he has spent OVER 3k on me in the time that he has "known" me.

Anyway. I normally don't talk about my love life (lack thereof) on cam but I did the other day and he caught wind of it and sent me these emails that were just really weirdly intense. I'm posting the second of the two because it's like. too good to not share.

First, I'd like to apologize for the angry email. I am angry, but I shouldn't have unleashed on you like that. I apologize. The only person I can blame is myself. In the end, I am the only one responsible for my feelings, thoughts, and emotions.

I've never felt as strongly as I do for you for any other woman in my life. The last time that came close was the first time I was in love, way back when I was in the Navy. Her name was Elizabeth. Like I said before in a previous message, there was just something about you and something just sparked. When you spend a lot of time alone, you're alone with your thoughts a lot. I do spend a lot of time day dreaming and fantasizing. Yes, I do agree with you that it is very hosed up that I've fallen in love with someone I've never actually spoken a word to. That is just so hosed up. So how do you tell if it's real or just fantasy? All I know is that you occupy my every waking thought. And other than my cats, whom I love very much, I actually look forward to coming home from work and seeing you (on cam). I know this sounds strange, but seeing you on cam is sort of like being in the same room with you, even though we actually aren't. And it just makes me happy and calm. Like there's nothing else in the world that matters. Is that fantasy? I don't know. I've been SO confused about this and you, trying to figure it out. So far nothing. :-)

I don't, and haven't figured it out, what it is about you that's got me wrapped around the axle so badly. You're hot, don't get me wrong, but physically, you're not the sort of woman I'm normally attracted to sexually. I'm not a big fan of tattoos on women, and especially the back area. Personally, I think a woman's back is sensual. You give massages there and kiss that area. It just seems a shame to "ink" it. I'm also not a big fan of breast augmentation. I think fake boobs on a woman look unnatural. Although, I must admit, they did a hell of a job on yours. Yours are probably the first I've seen that look quite attractive. I also don't like smoking. My brother smokes, and me and my mother have been trying to get him to quit for years. The hosed up thing is that whatever it was about you that turned my heart on so much, it was all before I realized any of the above about you. It was quite obvious you were tattooed, which is what I first noticed. I said to myself, she's got tattoos everywhere, and my heart just said, "don't care." The second thing I realized was that you had fake boobs, again my heart just said, "don't care." Then I found out you smoked, and again, "don't care." Other than your physical beauty, there's something else I'm attracted to. It's a hard realization that I really didn't know you at all. I just wish I was given the chance to get to know you better, and wish that you had gotten to know me better.

I've seen a lot of pretty women in my life (bars, porn, etc.), but you're the first whose got fake boobs, tattoos, and smokes that I've ever been so attracted to and thought I'd really like to be with. I really thought you were the "one." Like I said before, I haven't felt anything this strongly since Elizabeth. I guess my heart is the biggest stupid piece of poo poo and doesn't have a clue.

Don't worry, you won't ever see or hear from me again. I'm not a psycho or a stalker, you don't have to be afraid of anything. It's not the first time I've had my heart broken. But what I said last night is true. I do love you, and wish nothing else for you but happiness. You deserve nothing less. Don't ever let a guy take advantage of how loving wonderful you are. You deserve to be treated with love and equality. As for me, I regret absolutely nothing. You've made me feel happier than I've felt in a VERY long time. Actually, you made me feel alive. For that, it was all worth it. Please just remember, you'll always have a little piece of my heart.

Love,

This is 100% correct. 30 is considered old now? Most men who have a considerable disposable income, and like to spend it at SC's do not want the youngest looking thing in the club (if they do they will be a total weirdo that moves from girl to girl complaining about women their own age), they want a girl they can talk to that is *similar* in age to them that they can actually hold a convo with.

Nah this is pretty rare. He's pretty removed from reality, I think. I'm not torn up about it at all. It's 100$ less per day but it's also kinda better because he's really loving annoying and doing shows with him just makes me kinda angry even though all I do is sit and talk to him (and try really hard to not call him stupid and ignorant). I really don't understand how the guy who wrote the letter could think that I was "the one" though. I think that's the most puzzling part to me. There is no part of my "sex worker persona" that leads on that I actually like the dudes that I work for and I don't lie about stuff to make myself more desirable. In this case, this letter is as much a part of the fantasy of being with me / not being able to be with me. Now that he has dramatically exited the situation I can go on with my life understanding why I will never hear from him again.

I want...more...than to be just a "customer." And you don't. I get it. I understand. Regrettably so, but I understand nonetheless.
As far as what was going on on my end, it was simple jealousy. Good ol' simple jealousy.
And it does have to be mutually exclusive with me. It's not my style. It's not in my nature. I can't go private or exclusive with a girl knowing that she's married or has a boyfriend. I know, it's weird. Really, really weird. But that's just the way I am. It's my choice. I know most guys probably wouldn't care, and I might do it once, but I wouldn't do it a second time.

You are so loving beautiful, intelligent, and strong. I envy the guy you have your eyes on. I hope he realizes just how lucky he is.

I would block this guy forever. Can you make it so that he can't even see if you're on? The thing with guys like this is that ANY interaction with them is built up to such ridiculous levels that it no longer bears any semblance to reality. You say "I don't care what you do" he thinks 'shes talking to me! I have a chance!'

Dude will also totally blame you for any disappointment/anger he feels. I feel terrible for anyone he interacts with in real life.

Well it's different because it's a customer / provider relationship. When people are weird to me in my personal life it upsets me more than when I'm working (not at all). Like if someone came up to me in a bar and said the things that guys would say to me in the club I would be really horrified. At the club I was just like *eyeroll* "give me my money".

He has a crush on you. It's not necessary to know your name or your personal details for someone to have a crush on you. Having a crush on someone is based on their appearance and voice and personality (or even less than that). I've had a crush on a character on a tv show before, as of course many people do. It's not the same as being in love with someone because there's no depth to it. Having a crush on someone is often the beginning to falling in love with them, though, when they're a real person and not a tv show character or whatever.

Yes I would say that 30+ is considered older in entertainment. I don't say that to be judgmental, it just seems to be a milestone in entertainment jobs, and real life for some. But I've noticed dancers have different feelings about dancing as they get older, so I was just curious what yours were. I often think about going back to dancing, but I just feel like age (and childbirth) has not been good to me. But goddamn it was definitely the funnest job I've ever had. I'm now way out of shape, but sometimes I fantasize about stripping again if I were to ever get back in shape and take care of a few other cosmetic things. I also suffer from pancake boobs. Mine are from pregnancy.

And with the ugly stripper thing, I was just trying to get an interesting story out of you! I remember my very first strip club experience because of an ugly stripper. I was enjoying watching the lady on stage. At this club they would invite you to sit or lay down on stage, so that's what I did. I gave her a tip and she looked normal at first, but she gave me this huge goofy smile and literally half of her teeth were missing.

But yeah, you definitely see all sorts of women at the club. And I love it that way.

I really think it depends on how the person ages. I have seen some girls and thought that they were in their late 20s or even early 30s and found out that they were early 20s and that was surprising and terrifying at the same time. I don't think that I look 28 (nor do most of the people who meet me) so I think that myself, and others who look younger than they are, can work in this industry for way longer. I think also that mid 20s onwards is kinda dancing prime because by then you're more worldly and able to establish and enforce boundaries more / save / work smarter. Most of the younger girls that I meet definitely don't have their poo poo sorted out and don't do nearly as well as the ones who know what they're doing. I also think that the guys who want a younger girl are kinda creepy and try to stay away from them because imo, they're looking for someone to take advantage of.

If you're worried about your looks but want to go back to the industry I would consider camming. It is definitely more forgiving and there are fetishes for everything. I would check out some camsites and see how girls with similar body types to yours do. It's also more reliable (in my experience) and less demanding in every way (psychologically, emotionally, and physically). BBW is a huge fetish as is MILF.

I've seen so many strippers at this point that I don't even really know what I would consider to be best or worst. Teeth are a huge thing for me (due to 5 years in braces and implications of bad teeth though I do think that it's a slightly classist thing and need to get over that opinion) as is nice hair, tattoos (let them be nice) and things like makeup. I've seen girls ruin how they look with lovely makeup or look horrible due to out of date hairstyles / not doing anything with their hair. The girls that I like looking at least are ones who look rough like they've been dealing with years of drug use and are incapable of putting themselves together in a way that looks attractive by today's standards.

I think that the worst that I have seen on cam is this girl who posts on the stripper / camgirl webforum who actually looks like a cabbage patch doll. She's a BBW but can't seem to figure out how to do anything that doesn't make her look like she just had major dental surgery that has her whole face frozen. There are very few people who I consider "unsuitable" for this industry but I actually jokingly sent a picture of her and a picture of a cabbage patch doll to a friend of mine and we broke down laughing at how they look really similar. We are horrible people.

Yeah. I like camming more for this too because at the club there's a huge divide and it's kinda more judgy about who does well and who looks good. I love going on cam and seeing girls who are successful but are obviously lacking in some department. I also love seeing categories like "granny" and seeing those women doing well. BBW and granny are things that you would never see at a stripclub so that's good to me to see.

I don't think this has been asked before ... have you ever had female customers?

In the club yes for sure. On cam I'm not certain but I doubt it (at least for 1 on 1 shows... group shows with a small buy in I'm sure that women have watched me if not just other camgirls looking to see what others do).

I actually am fairly certain that the subject of female customers has come up in this thread at length.

I think I noticed you mention you work in Canada. Do clubs work the same way there as they do in the US? I remember having to pay the club all sorts of crazy fees. There was the house fee, DJ tip, locker room fee, dance fees, and I'm probably forgetting something. But god it was like 60$ just to work. I think a lot of people don't realize we're not getting paid by the clubs.

Another fun question is the funniest thing you remember from the dressing room. I remember one time I was minding my own business, but couldn't help but notice there was a girl bending over looking at her butt in the mirror. She turns to me, bends over, spreads her cheeks, and asked me if her butthole looked ok.

Yeah I've talked a lot in this thread and in the DJ thread about the way that clubs work in Canada vs in the US. It's really different and worth reading through the find the posts about.

I took a bunch of pictures of stuff around the club and in the change room that I found and thought was funny / creepy. Maybe I'll upload them later. I've seen the pussy inspect, the butthole inspect, the drug inspect... girls helping other girls put fake tan on and getting stuff everywhere. I've had my haircut in the dressing room a number of times hah.

Yes post them! And I'm sorry that I've repeated questions. Laziness for the win.

House fees are the most ridiculous bullshit, we had to pay them at the club/brothel too. In our case, it was set fee on every booking we took on top of the cut the management already took* - other agencies charge a set fee for the night, which is great if you have a good night, but if it's slow you can end up paying to do nothing all night.

*I realise that in practice this is no different than the house simply taking a bigger cut, but mentally it's still kind of a blow; also it meant that the house's cut could end up edging over 50% of a booking fee, not counting extras.
