Tryin' to think of a good name/desc for my beggar's bazoooka. I use it a shitload and it's strange so I figure it deserves better. All I've come up with so far is either: 'The Shocker' - "Two in the pink, one in the stink" cause of the three rockets and all, but its pretty crass and I don't like that 'The Unfair Instagib' - "Well, at least I'm not a demoman" which also sucks

What about "Fancy Mixed Nuts" because WHOOPS I THOUGHT I PUT A SNAKE IN THERE, or maybe "Whoops Did I Crit You?" with I DON'T CARE I'M TAUNTING ANYWAY. You do taunt after every kill and especially after random crits right? Some other ideas: Blue Balls - That release has never felt so good. Phlogistonator - W+M1 for kills; right click to unleash a stream of crits! Drunk Missiles - HEEEEY TAVISHH... WHOOOSSH DRUNK NAAOOWWW?

I don't play Sniper much, but I feel like I have to at least use the free description tag I got on my Genuine AWP-er Hand. "Terrorists win." But that leaves me with a name tag I still gotta figure on using.

TF2 is super loving unplayable right now. Every server I'm on has about four level-3 sentries on the point at a time, and everyone's short-circuiting everything in sight so you can't even go tryhard demo and break them. At this point even most of the teamplay-oriented servers I usually frequent seem to have given up and are just deathmatching with hitscan weapons and lightning beams.

Yeah...I'm not sure what valve was thinking putting out the SC in its present state, because it's patently obvious how game-breaking it is. That said, I know what our first funhavers event for 2014 will be. Here's a hint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IpvJZuX_Vk

LeChuck demomen (optimal: Polly Putrid, Squid's Lid and the Treasure Chest) and Skeleton Pyros versus any class wearing a fine leather jacket? VVV In the face of Short Circuit spam, you could go Deception Medic: Pocket a Soldier or Demo and charge the Engineer, then pull out your saw. e: then obviously get blown up by the Sentry. It's true too. The Stroheim character in Jojo's bizarre adventure is what inspired Guile's haircut in Street Fighter 2 - several other street fighter characters are inspired (or ripped off) from Jojo. In the early 90's, after Street Fighter 2 came out and was super popular, a lot of American comic book superhero artists used the Guile hairdo in their characters. They were pulling influence from Hirohiko Araki without even realizing it. In 1994, John Reitze and Martin Smillie both designed art for the game 'UFO: Enemy unknown' (known as X-COM in the US) trying to go for a 'popular manga style' as they described, and also pulled influence from the US comic book artists that were popular at the time. Thus the Guile haircut was used. The Guile haircut is a goofy throwback staple of not just Xcom, but 1990's western comics - it is actually evidence of the permeating influence that manga and anime was having on US comics at the time. The hairdo is so goofy and memorable to Xcom players of course that it was included as the promo item we know and love. So now, indirectly, Team Fortress 2 has something that was influenced by Jojo's bizarre adventure in it. Spacedad fucked around with this message at 23:42 on Dec 24, 2013 |

Also, here's a Street Fighter series boss guy wearing an Aztec-looking mask similar to the one that turns the Jojo villian Dio into a vampire. As if the distinct pose wasn't a giveaway - Look at his arm tattoos. Anyway, I think that's enough on that SF/Jojo tangent for now.
