Yeah, I'm probably gonna buy this. Especially if there are Pixar characters. If Remy doesn't give you cooking lessons that is a terribly squandered opportunity.

I am a bit late for yearly stats, but here is mine. I had it since it was release and just recently upgrade to Zelda XL. Steps: 897,950 step (Mostly from going to university and EVO in Las Vegas) Play Time: 56 titles / 661:12 1.) Fire Emblem Awakening- 173:28 I am at the last stage of the game, but I want to do some of the side stuff before finishing it. It my first game for series. Very fun game and enjoy the characters. I am going back to play the old game that got from Ambassador program. 2.) Project X Zone- 108:04 I uhhhh actually like this game for the fan service (their interaction) for all the characters, however doing fights for 3+ hours is a bit too much. I maybe the only one in this thread that actually complete it. 3.) Shin Megami Tensei IV- 80:44 Currently (and playing right now) on my list of stuff to finish and I'm close to the end. And for the life of me, I can't deal with it on normal difficulty and have to lower it down. 4.) StreetPass Mii Plaza I bought the DLC stuff and it has increase the time that I play on it. Thanks to Pokemon and Zelda, my streetpass rate has increase a lot. 5.) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney-Dual Destinies - 48:00 I am close to the end and need to get back to that. I am enjoying it and will get the DLC after completing the game. 6.) The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages- 26:21 Not much to say, but never play it as a kid and I enjoy it. I can't believe that I skip this and Season. 7.) Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon- 18:02 Because it's the year of Luigi!!!! Overall, I am very satisfied with 3DS, despite having a rough start. I am already planning to get Bravely Default when it is release. I don't see the slowing down at all now!

Sorry, no Pixar characters yet. However, I would imagine if it takes off in America it might cause Namco Bandai to start putting out more DLC like they did with putting out the Pirates of the Caribbean set and Sleeping Beauty set.

So for some reason my 3DS suddenly stopped working as well as it used to. It starts up slower and I can't connect to the eshop/any other internet things with it even though it has full blue bars and is enabled (my internet does work, obviously). Anyone have an idea of what might be up?

Is there no Zelda 3ds thread? Weird. Just upgraded from launch 3ds to the gold Zelda XL and I can't believe I spent so much time on the tiny lovely screen, and also Zelda is awesome.

I've sent an e-mail to Nintendo as a last-ditch effort, and if I don't get any help, I'm about to just put this thing up on eBay. My StreetPass experience is completely hosed everywhere but with the Mii Plaza itself, and even then I'm now only getting 2 or 3 people per StreetPass relay where I used to get 6. The first week I had this thing was so exciting with all of the notifications that a Shadow Link was waiting for me, or that another FE team was in the game. Now I get neither, far fewer people are at the relays, and to add insult to injury the Mii Plaza will not go above 9 people waiting at the gate, regardless how many spots I hit. It's like I have a permanently corrupted spot keeping me from reaching 10 or from individual games getting access to the visitors. The games themselves are awesome, the 3D is awesome, but the frustration of spending hours a day trying to fix this is deflating.

You are trying to fix something that isn't broken.

My experience with the relays is that if I pass through one, I get six people, a second one without clearing those six, I get an extra three, and the count doesn't seem to go over nine except in rare occasions, which I assume to be when I actually streetpass a real person. I get something like 12-18 Streetpasses per day thanks to the relays on my way to work and back; I stopped caring about stuff like Fire Emblem teams and whatnot because there's no way to go over all of them anymore, so I just use the hits to get whatever puzzles pieces I don't have and for another stab at Quest II.

Oh, hey, rad. Thanks, Nintendo. This is so much fun. On the Yuga-Ganon fight in LBW on Hero Mode. Done everything else there is. Got all my items upgraded (even the net and lantern), got all the Maiamais, got all the heart pieces. All I need is to beat the game. But instead what I'm doing is trying to find a spot to grind loving potion ingredients for an hour or two, because god forbid you're just allowed to buy the drat things. No idea where the best place to do it is, either. Am I better off in a dungeon, slashing pots and trying to hope for tails, or should I use the big grass patch in Kakariko/outside the Rupee Rush screen? In a game full of questionable decisions, this is probably the worst offender.

I royally hosed up applying the bottom part of the HORI covers because of a single piece of dust. I could not get the drat dust speck off. Now the backside is toast. Is it possible to wash off with water and air dry to start again? It isn't a huge deal, as I primarily wanted it for the top screen to protect it from the bottom bezel. I was just curious.

So I've done everything in the Bravely Default demo except get 20 villagers... how exactly is that supposed to work? My kids have 2DSes so they streetpass with me and pop up on my friends list all the time but I'm not getting any more dudes, do they also have to be playing the game or something? Because I figured that only applied to the Abilink or whatever it is where you can get your friends' characters to help you fight.

Speaking of Hori screen protectors, what is the best way to go about applying them if you live in a dusty area? The 3DS XL I ordered arrived, but I'm afraid of touching it without screen protectors, but I'm afraid of applying them wrong and wasting the money.

Scotch tape did the trick! It's not perfect, but there is no visible dust. You can't even tell the protection is there when it's turned on, so I don't mind.

Okay: I'm ashamed to admit that I forgot just how great Devil Survivor: OC and Fire Emblem: Awakening were to play on the go. Why did I subject myself to Project x Zone for so long when I had these 2 greats in my book/games-shelf? Seriously, I know the 3 are supposed to be Tactical/Strategy RPG's, but the difference is jaw-dropping. While PxZ has some decent voice acting, fist-pumpingly awesome music (Virtua Fighter, Super Robot Wars / Endless Frontier and especially Sakura Wars ), and plus it also led me to discover both Super Robot Wars and holy-poo poo JAM Project , it honestly pales in comparison to how well done both DeSu:OC and Awakening were. I started to replay Awakening (on my home>work commute) this Thursday, and just the fact alone that the game both rewards and punishes you for whatever action plan you took feels like a welcome change. The fact that there's a challenge (to not get your characters killed permanently) makes it all the more interesting and I seriously hope that they release a new Fire Emblem game soon. Devil Survivor (work>home commute) is basically a much needed breath of fresh air after the unenthusiastic slogs that the fights in PxZ become after a while. While I'm going to buy Bravely Default, I honestly cannot wait to play all the backlog that I neglected because of that game.
