I got my stream operating in pretty acceptable parameters. I'll link tomorrow or Friday and you guys can watch me putz around in Anno or Sims, or something. Saturday is when I will broadcast myself trying to drive a virtual truck!

I think the main requirement is you have to have a certain (fairly low) number of subscribers. Regarding Youtube "Live Events", I followed the instructions found here. It seems you need X amount of subscribers to enable it, but if you use YT to host your LPs you probably already meet that magic mystery number. The stream quality is fantastic and it auto-archives the stream in your youtube channel (my test stream is here if you want to see some Last Remnant/Euro Truck/Risk of Rain gameplay). However, the stream delay was ~30ish seconds (peeking up to 60 at times) and the built in chat is awful. Also note that there's some kind of DRM built into the stream, as at one point youtube complained to me that I was streaming something I didn't have the rights to (I think it was talking about a song during the Euro Truck part). Just something to be aware of. Also if the OP is taking a static list of streamer, SA goons Bandunk, Minifoo and myself stream every wednesday @ 4PST/7EST on my twitch channel. Polsy went ahead and set up an auto-updating page to tell you if LP goons are streaming right now, check it out! Also I set up some guidelines for posting your stream in the thread in the second post in case people weren't quite sure how to put it.
