And as far as I'm aware, she's also the only one of the bunch to ever self-resurrect*. *(Queenie maybe as well, but her gunshot stuff was murkier. She says they left her for dead I think, but I don't remember her ever specifically saying she died and brought herself back, just that she healed real quick.)

I can't believe I'm saying this but in fairness to the show, being choked by Frankentate might interfere with a witch's ability to focus. And the lighter thing, too; it's clear that Madison's weakness is that when you catch her off guard or shoot a hole in her ego she can't take it and she collapses.
