Battle Pigeon posted:It's been a crappy day. Anyone able to make it better with some cute parrot photos/videos/gifs? Corvids are 100% acceptable too. Here's two of my parrots as a thank you in advance: Hello fellow bird fan! I have two things for you. Number one: an amazing video of a very, very smart corvid completing a previously unexpected task...in 8 separate steps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JY8-gP3Sw_8 Number two: a story. When I lived in a college dorm in Portland, ME, I was four stories up in an urban neighborhood. Out of curiosity I made a bird feeder and placed it outside my window, which directly abutted my bed. Every few days I would place bits of food inside, until I began to to attract a bonded pair of crows that lived nearby. I dubbed them "The Morrigans", for the Celtic goddess who appeared as a crow on occasion. In time, as they learned my routine, they would begin to caw LOUDLY right outside the window if there was nothing in the feeder. And peck at the window. And caw. And caw. Of course, this was all when they could see me literally inches away from them. As soon as I would get up to feed them, they would fly away, but as soon as I closed the window they would come and eat. I could practically press my nose to the glass and they would just give me a look like 'yeah, okay.' gently caress I love corvids.

I can't remember what it was called though, anyone else recall?
