Hey everyone gets one free food! The give-away should have been that you have to tag, follow, repost to get the food but only have to show the cashier a picture that says "Free Food" to get your meal because that seems totally legit.

Chipotle seems to get more fake "FREE FOOD" coupons than any other food place I know. Last semester up at school they had to hang up a sign on their door that said the buy one get one cards that were going around were fake (which wasn't helped by the fact that at another time during the semester they did have a BOGO going on)

Straight White Males - The New Minority Just noticed that an acquaintance (who pretty much embodied the horrible privileged frat boy faction of my school's relatively moderate College Republicans chapter) liked this page. Along with the usual "BUT WHY NO WHITE HISTORY MONTH" crap, there's a weird mixture of slut-shaming macros and drooling over pictures of women in bikinis.

A social media intern called me, got my address, and sent me the coupon for 10 burritos, 10 chips and guac, and 10 drinks (had to be redeemed all at once). Everyone in the store stared at it for a long time before they decided to honor it, and now I understand why. A/T: Ask me about 10 free burritos from Chipotle

I looked it up, and they hired a bunch of big names to pretend that this board is real, made up a big infomercial about it, all to.... what? Laugh at people who fell for a hoax? There's no way they'll be trying to bilk money out of investors, not with high profile names like that. What is their goal here? To see if they can do it? I can kind of understand those viral like-share-comment thingies because they can sell the page later with built in followers but this isn't even a facebook thing, it's just a hoax video. I don't get marketing.

Apparently a bunch of kids wore American flag shirts on Cinco de Mayo and the principal asked the students to turn the shirts inside out. This comes off of the last year where some students carrying a Mexican flag had an altercation with some students who hung an American flag from tree and chanted USA, after which threats of violence were exchanged. The court ruled that the principal asking the students to turn their shirts inside out was not a violation of constitutional rights of equal protection, free speech, and due process (what?). Despite this relatively reasonable reaction to avoid violence, people on my feed are claiming "OUR TROOPS", which is terribly disappointing.

This is supposedly (but not really) an ad for Aston Martin pre-owned cars, the text says "You know you're not the first, but do you really care?" Black bars are various people pretty much uninvolved Red is me Blue is some guy who thinks he's funny Orange and pink are women, pink's comment got cut off - full text ends with quote:My husband is helpful, smart, intelligent, and does laundry, cooks, cleans etc. The media has a way of perpetuating stereotypes that people actually buy on to hook line and sinker- for both genders- and then they actually expect their significant other to behave that way, or the subconsciously instigate the behavior. This ad, fake or not, is simply human- women are sexy, have sex, and have sex again... I actually like that its kind of taking the stance that women can have multiple sexual partners and it's acceptable. Courts have ruled again and again that students do not have the right to wear whatever clothes they want to school. Everything from school uniforms being required to banning of certain items has been upheld. From having been a high school student once, I fully believe that these kids were wearing the shirts to antagonize the other students and that is enough of an argument to ban the shirts (as opposed to shirts that promote alcohol or are sexually graphic that are more usually banned). Of course, when I pointed this out to the person I know that shared it, they just went off on how these immigrants need to be more American and speak English.
