I'm actually kind of surprised that more people don't try to do this. I'm only 30 and am wierded out by the idea of people depositing checks via their phones. Not because of the mobile banking part, but because the check is still held by the person doing the mobile deposit with no markings on it to indicate it has been processed. Of course, I also get real mad at the old people in front of me who write checks at the grocery store because the store just converts it to an ETF and processes it immediately anyway. Use your god drat debit card and stop making me wait an extra 15 seconds, rear end in a top hat. And don't even get me started on people who wait for the checker to finish everything before they swipe their card and start pressing buttons. Those people are just as bad as the check writers.
