When I worked in NYC restaurants, they were almost all Puerto Rican. The kitchen my ex ran in Providence was mostly Guatemalan with some El Salvadorians. Here in the Bay Area, most of my dudes are Yucatan with a few El Salvadorians. I've been in the industry for 14 years and I think I've had a total of two "white" dishwashers. Interesting.

Too lazy to quote the original question. But I am from Augusta, Georgia. We do have a large Latino/Hispanic population but they work construction and landscaping. You can set your watch to it, every day at 12 the F-250's descend upon the Circle K. They clean out the Griller/Hot Dog roller and Gatorade.

Felt the need to share this. Just saw one of those targeted 2am ads on TV. Not going to say the link but it was a new school looking phone sex line. I just got done with a 14 hour shift, making a PB&J and going on beer 5 before I go to bed and do it again in 6 hours.
