My Lovely Horse: Aug 21, 2010

Those sliders on the console look really flat and are completely out of perspective in panel 6, the whole right side of the console looks off-model actually. I like the new level of detail but unfortunately it kind of draws attention to that sort of thing.

e: the fact that there is perspective is great and it improves the overall look of the comic a lot, I'm just a stickler for details :shobon:

I'm really coming around to the new art style. It's not just the added detail, the perspectives of the panels are a little more dynamic now.

Elan thought stabbing the pilot with the scalpel was bad enough; using his left hand to do it would be a bit too sinister.

Haley picked up a shirt in her redesign and no longer looks as ridiculous. Flesh pitchfork hands still look weird to me. Looks like they all have rheumatoid arthritis.

Honestly the more pages posted I think I'm the opposite. I thought the old style worked from a minimalist perspective, but the increased detail and perspective changes clash with the remnants of that. Although I still think I need to give it a few more pages to make sure it's not just a general reaction to change.
