Also, 6 of you have the goal scoring record being broken, the highest by Stamkos with 25 (!). At 2 gpg, he only has to make it to the second round to do it! Also, our first real batch of Red Xs! and then ShyftedOne... more like ShaftedOne! He currently leads the way with 2 red Xs! (Columbus sweeping Pittsburgh doesn't help matters.) Oh wow, people really were concerned about St. Louis' rough patch at the end. I thought I read a few years ago that how a team finishes a season has no correlation with how they do in the playoffs?

I thought I read a few years ago that how a team finishes a season has no correlation with how they do in the playoffs? It normally doesnt. You have to remember that their reason for the rough patch was injuries though, many without return dates (or at minimum, later in the playoffs). That was why people were picking Chicago.

I'm an hour late because of dealing with a car crash yesterday and the aftermath/towing BS today. I haven't looked at any of the games tonight and have a good excuse Eastern Conference Boston vs. Detroit - Boston in 5: Bigger, meaner, better, deeper team. Pittsburgh vs Columbus - Pittsburgh in 5: Columbus in 7. Go go Dubi! Tampa Bay vs. Montreal - Habs in 6: Eh? New York Rangers vs. Philadelphia - Rangers in 4: Maximum homerism Western Conference Anaheim vs. Dallas - Ducks in 5: Stars are good this year but the Ducks have perhaps an even more powerful playoff duo. Colorado vs. Minnesota - Avs in 5: The Wild has some x factors, but the Avs just overpower them, especially in goal. Yeah, I didn't make a joke about beating them in net. :colbert St. Louis vs. Chicago - Hawks in 6: Looks like a good series, they both have some injuries, they both have some great players and good depth, but it's pretty easy to envision the Hawks being better in the playoffs. San Jose[/b/ vs. LA - Sharks in 6: Dustin Brown can only kill so many people. Bonus Round! Stanley Cup winning team: New York Rangers (a man can dream, right?)
