After decades of the entire universe dumping on him, Anderson deserves a nice place to rest from time to time. Given the fact that he never manages to get time off, I imagine that improving his apartment in anticipation for the retirement that will never be just became kind of a hobby for him. Taken like that, it's actually a little depressing: a physical representation of the life an old soldier can never really have and wouldn't know what to do with even if he got it.

Really I can't believe even an admiral makes enough money to live in a place that looks that expensive-looking, but maybe it's all part of Mass Effect's vaguely fascist undertones.

So, does each civilization then construct new areas on the Citadel? Do the Wards just get thicker and thicker?

For that matter, given the size of the Leviathan/Reaper aliens, why did they build everything humanoid size anyway?

Same reason you don't make three story roach motels: it's a trap for tiny pests, not something to be used by your own species.

If you figure property values in the Citadel are comparable to New York that apartment has a price tag of about a million billion dollars.

Question, I'm going through the Citadel DLC for maximum hilarity and enjoyment on the PS3, and I found that the Combat Simulator was running like holy buggy hell. I couldn't go five seconds without it slowing down to load, and it was even more annoying because I'd spent most of the day playing MP, which should be essentially the same thing. Is this a problem with the Armax Arena in general, the PS3 version, or just my PS3?
I have a fat PS3 and ME3 is the only game that consistently causes it to hardlock and/or poo poo the bed. If I play SP for a few hours the game turns into a slideshow. Just quit and restart, that fixes it. Maybe it's a buffer or cache issue, who knows

also I doubt the density of a hyper-advanced space station allows for free standing homes/mansions, so luxury/penthouse apartments are probably about as good as it gets

I know it was for ease of modeling, but I really wanted some aliens that looked like giant lumps of jello or fart clouds or something. Maybe with the next one.

Omega was great, but it'd have been cool if the lower Citadel wards were crime ridden cesspits like that, though I guess that'd require more of a class war undertone that wouldn't jive well with the existing vision.

Yeah the Hanar are exceptions, but you don't interact with them much and the only one that really moves is Blasto.

I know they're intent on being bigger than ever, but I'd love to see a Mass Effect game centered around the Citadel. Instead of the usual galactic stakes, keep it smaller and focus on the realities of all these different species living and working together. Like DA2, but actually interesting (read: not at all like DA2).

DLC of any game I've ever played. Hell, it's better than plenty of standalone games I've played.

Plus I just did the tango with Garrus. It's so ridiculous and perfect. I love the poo poo out of this.

Edit: I finished the game and then did the DLC, and I now see that I should have done this DLC while all crewmates were alive. I have no idea how to replay it without playing the game all over again though.

You could use Gibbed's ME2 save editor, right? Pretty sure that can modify ME2 variables as well as ME1. It can work even if you're on the Xbox (out of luck if you're on the PS3 I think) though that's a more complicated process.

Edit: Never mind, confused games in my head. Did Gibbed make a ME3 editor?

Mass Effect developers from the Edmonton and Montreal studios discuss what it's like to expand on a well-established and beloved video game franchise. Panelists Carl Boulay (lead animator), Fabrice Condominas (producer), Mike Gamble (producer), Noel Lukasewich (senior artist), and Jessica Merizan (community manager), share their experiences in shaping the next Mass Effect game with new possibilities while staying true to the critically acclaimed series.

Sounds like at best we'll hear general ideas of what makes a good Mass Effect game, and maybe some concept art for ME4. Will be nice if they touch a little on the ME3MP team doing stuff for ME4, just how involved are they really. Besides the usual fears, doom, and gloom of ME4 the main thing I'm hoping is they don't just copy the ME3MP as ME4 gameplay entirely. Take the same idea sure, but make them more complicated. Trying to find the right words so I don't be all "do this but better", I mean I did play 300 or 400 hours of killing a target, standing a circle to hack, and escorting a glowing ball already in 2012. I'd like to do something different for 2016/2017.
