Keep in mind that Billboard is almost meaningless these days now that nobody gives a gently caress about albums. People have been "topping the Billboard charts" with only 40k album sales lately. I mean Weird Al is pretty much one of the few relatively big names left that a lot of people want an entire album from rather than individual tracks, and it doesn't hurt to have the kind of advertising push this album's had online. Weird Al to me will always represent UHF and my weird dad and his tapes of 80's Dr. Demento shows so the fact that he's actually kinda popular in this day and age is pretty odd.
