On MOTD they said the linesman flagged for a foul despite the ball going on to cross the line. Similar thing caused massive confusion at City last year, a 'goal' was scored, all the screens flashing up the hawk eye thing saying goal, but it wasn't given because the keeper or a defender had been fouled and so the ref disallowed it.

I didn't hear the bit about the foul on motd. I see.

They need to have the Hawkeye graphic say 'OVER' or something, rather than 'GOAL'. It just breeds confusion. Hawkeye is not giving the goal, it's still the referee who does that. Its job is to tell the referee if the whole ball went over the line.

Welsh media is getting really overexcited about a game where we had <40% possession and put away our only two decent chances against a mid-table side.

'Offside' is a bit of a misnomer as well. Hopefully someone can suggest something a bit clearer!

its also a bit confusing when the ball goes into the side netting, any way we could fix that too?

I find it confusing when the commentators say words, can we arrange it so all they are allowed to say are players' last names and the word 'Goal'?

Other commonly understood terms are also comedic to insinuate that I do not understand, and thus would like them changed. Any chance?

There was a short period of time during yesterday's game against the saints where the commentary cut out and it was pretty nice.

Anyone with a brain understands that Hawkeye can say goal, but then the referee can disallow it, but lots of people are loving morons who see 'goal' on the tv screen and think the referee's made a mistake

Chelsea team v Burnley: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Fabregas, Matic; Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard; Diego Costa.

Courtois starting. Luis on the bench. Let's get some goals.
