It didn't take long to see that King Eric was going to have troubles as a ruler. It started off small at first, but I saw the signs. Small ticks, muttered conversations to himself, and strange looks. King Eric had the same madness that had torn apart his father and nearly destroyed the kingdom. I began to question my decision to put him on the throne.

More trouble arrived a few years into my time as the royal court wizard. The Elemental Plane of Fire seemed to declare war upon Daria, and suddenly every fire in the land became a portal into the fiery dimension, and elementals poured into the land. The fire creatures killed many citizens and burned down many houses; most of the kingdom thought that the Gods themselves were angry at our nation, but I knew that there had to be an arcane reason for the incursion.

I used the Dragonwish.
~~I knew about Summoning, so I sought to unsummon them all. (Needs 70 Summoning)~~
I used magic to find the problem. (Needs 40 Divination)
I communed with the Gods. (Needs 65 Religion)
I had no idea how to stop the onslaught.

I remember when I got the news that Cherrie had been kidnapped�I was frantic and furious! I couldn't believe that someone would use an innocent 11-year-old as leverage against me. I received a scroll telling me that I had to pay 5000 gold or I'd never see my child again.

Archdruid is crazy hard. Being neutral is difficult, especially when you get some good karma and then try to get some evil to balance it out and overshoot. I think there's only a 5 point moral buffer, too.

Yup. There's technically no "max" you just need 100 points in either. Too bad there's no achievement for going evil to good.

Edit: you might need to get 100+ good before you fight the dragon, when you prey before the fight. It'll label you Angelic much like Krogg is now Demonic.

When I arrived, I saw that all sorts of vegetation was under attack, from trees, to grass, to crops. Everything seemed to be turning yellow and rotting, despite all attempts to save the plants.

I used the Dragonwish.
I used my knowledge of nature to try to clear the blight. (Needs 70 Nature)
I used a Divination spell to find a solution. (Needs 70 Divination)
The fey creatures of the land spoke to me. (Needs 70 Elf Faction)
I summoned a wood sprite to help me. (Needs 65 Summoning)
I didn't know how to stop the blight.

The infection all came from a single tree in the center of a small forest of rotted vegetation. It was obviously not natural, but it was also not readily apparent as to why this tree was spreading disease across the land.
