Insertion is awesome. I am on my third match in a row now and the deer stand thing is now definitely verified to be consistent lagging. And for everybody, including opponents.

I'm pretty sure part of the reason i'm an awful player is how inconsistent I am. I will get 28 frags on inferno in a goonman, then the next day vs mostly the same goons, go 5 frags and 20+ deaths. On the upside, since Roach gave me that p250 Franklin I've been amazing with the p250, just snapshotting people in the head all the time. I was awful with it when using the default skin, so that's just me being bad again.

I had my first competitive ace yesterday, twice in the same game. Once on galil cleanup round 2 after a pistol round win and then on the CT side pistol round. Feels good.

Alright so when you have a Hostage in Insertion, a teammate has to climb to the deer stand to launch the lag cannon. When there, any change of interception or sniping of the hostage carrier becomes nigh impossible. I am pretty sure half of the people have no idea what is being done when they sream "DDOS" in chat.
