IRL I'd probably let someone swap Stamina and March even though technically revealing the tile prevents take-backs. Mana Draw works too though.

It's a really brutal draw this early in the game, ouch. There's no feasible way for an early-game character to block a fourteen. The herbalists will help by clearing away some of the wounds, but not all that much. On the other hand, it's better than a paralysis or poison monster.

I'd have bet on Swiftness powered by the Will Focus Goldyx prepared earlier.. but drawing two cards first makes me wonder if he was looking for it. Crushing Bolt would also work, it'd be pretty unlikely not to have one of those.

Yeah, Concentrated Ranged Attack is a pretty standard go-to when trying to catapult yourself up the fame track. I think it'll deal with 80% of the dungeon tiles, certainly in Goldyx' situation where he gets +3 rather than +2.

The speculators are right. I use a green mana die from the source to power Will power, which I use to power a 6 attack Swiftness. (I was actually hoping for Werewolf as its one of the better fame gainers.)

I guess I just found a working Lost Legion module. I wish I'd known of its existence ahead of time, the game feels so much more complete with it in there. Maybe that'll be for a second game. On that note, if anyone's connected to BGG and the play-by-mail threads there I'd love to know if there's a higher version number than 1.51.

Ah, that's a bit of an unlucky draw. No matter what Arythea does she'll have to do it slowly. Unless she has perfect hands it'll probably be 3 turns before she can safely assault that mage tower.

The goblin nerdlords walk into my golems, then I use a red mana from the source to Rage and March against the machine well, for the machine, I guess.

Norowas' Turn Arythea's golems bounce the goblins entirely off their physical resist. Since poison only takes effect when a Unit would receive a Wound, nothing happens to them. Nope, sure wasn't. Basically the One Card I Did Not Want To Draw. But I don't think sitting on it is the ideal play right now. Norowas will helpfully describe to the Orc Warg Riders, in painstaking detail, all the things he has done and will continue to do to their mothers. He'll also forego ranged attacks and give the orcs one free shot, taking a wound. Oh, it hurts almost as much as how your mother never loved you. He'll then play Rage, Mana Draw (sideways), and Learning (sideways) for Attack 4 and kill the Orc. End turn.
