my thumbs try to play every fighting game the same way, it's hard to get out of the habit of trying "traditional" combos instead of focusing more on the stick movements and less on the buttons.

Gave Junpei a try (best char in P3 EZ), but the number of hard links in his good combos has pretty much scared me off. Might just give up and go back to Kanji, but also interested in trying out Yukari as well. Feel free to add me on PSN, my id is Jmcrofts.

Can I get some help with something? It's in regards to the ending. I picked both options for episode P4 and beaten it but it's still stuck at 94%. I read that you have to do all of episode P3 and do the same thing, which I did, but now it's still at 99% and chapter 11: Mission Complete is shown with the word clear in yellow. Did I miss something?

And without them she basically does no damage off anything. Which is shame because her zoning is really fun and wind orb is one of the better character mechanics. Actually, a lot of the new characters seem to be gated behind difficult combos. Marie has 4 different versions of her 5a bnb for different members of the cast and she doesn't even have one that works on Sho. Seems like a weird design decision since a lot of characters still have really easy combos.

Which P3 choice did you most recently pick? It only remembers the last one you did. It worked for me after I did the second choice.

I'm picking this up later today. Where should a complete newbie to this game start? I had the first one, but never played it because no one around me did. Now there's a group near me where everyone plays it, so looking to get started. I'm coming from Marvel as that's the only fighting game I've really played in the past few months. From there, roll around in Training Mode with the characters that you like, and decide which ones you like. From there, there should be plenty of resources online on basic combos you can work on - Dustloop is a good place to start.

Minazuki can be gimmicky with using 236D after a blocked DP to catch people trying to punish for example. Good games guys, that was fun.
