coinbase does a 1week hold on unauthenticated accounts, you need a CC # to authenticate. so you place a buy order at whatever market price is and then a week later you get the coins. why anyone would do that is beyond me

First of all, i do not and have never sold my income in bitcoin as maybe much of the bigger miners do. i only do cash out what i need to pay hosting costs. the rest i spare for when bitcoin become much more matured and maybe much more worth each.

i do also think that most of the miners out there do it the same way, but maybe some comments will enlight us how you out there are managing your mining operation.

i have monthly expenses of $1300 for hosting and electricity. with a current difficulty at 34661425923 and bitcoin at $300 i get bitcoin per day worth aproximately $ 80.

i can say that bitcoin can go as low as $ 170 not calculating the difficulty go higher to recoup my monthly expenses. If it gets lower i have to power down my miners. not talking about the initial investment for buying those machines.

Looking in the past it would be wiser to sell all the coins immediately instead of hodling, but i think i have learned something about myself. i do not mine for the short profit instead i always believed in the future of our beloved decentralised technology.
