Nah, the way it broke plus the lines afterwards were way too tailored for the situation even allowing for multiple takes.

Oh god that was a fun episode with great lines, and then Sandra Bernhart and Stephen Root at the end put it over the top. It was like watching the ghost of great 90s sitcoms come down from heaven to bless the show :3:

Make Stephen Root a regular and give me this generation's "NewsRadio." I need it now. I mean, it's already close, but with Stephen Root, it pretty much seals the deal.

I think every role he has he should use his buck strickland voice.

Even when he played that Klingon.

Good thing I rewatched the bit with Gina and Boyle's parents. One of the bit characters is "Lengarry Len Ross". I might have to go back and watch more of the end credits for that kind of thing.

It's pretty rare to see sitcoms released on blu-ray unfortunately.

Agreed, but I guess I get it. Is it fair to say that network television shows in general are less likely to get blu-ray releases?

E: My logic was higher market penetration due to availability = reduced blu-ray sales, where as not everybody would have AMC/HBO/Showtime, et cetera.

That was okay, but it kind of felt like they were retreading old ground with Terry's brother, and not quite as successfully as when they did the second Halloween bet. I kind of assumed Terry would learn a lesson about standing up to his brother rather than Holt going along with it.

The "Jake takes charge" message was also a bit thin since nothing he did beforehand was really all that wrong, it just happened to backfire the same way being ironfisted from the start might've. Plus, the only important point was getting Boyle to review the security footage like he should've and figure out who left the package.

They won't all be gold, I suppose.

He could've easily shut down the lawyer without saying much other then "You're a legal person, you must have some idea of the shitstorm you'd be in if you breach a state enforced quarantine" but that's not as funny as screaming "we're all gonna die" with a bullhorn.

I have to agree, personally I think this was the worst episode so far, and that still speaks to what an incredibly good show this is overall.
