I'd argue that when someone has averaged nearly one probation or ban per week then they should perhaps be given less leeway on a discussion board than the average person. On the topic of minis, I've tended to scavenge through my prior supplies and use various figures, tiles, and mats from Starcraft and Descent. Thus my current setup for Black Crusade involves red/blue Marines for the folks in power armor, red/blue Firebats for the folks in Terminators, and a Goliath for the Heretek's Broadside. (At this point they've reached the point in the power curve where they're leading armies.) Funny enough, if you're already considering ordering stuff from FFG, then you can grab a battlemat for 5$ as part of a now-defunct Descent 1E expansion. (Don't buy it on its own, however; the shipping costs are kinda steep for a single item.)

I used IRC to play with a mixed group of Americans and British for about 6 years almost. Sadly a few months back life changes finally caught up to us to the point where scheduling has been a nightmare. We're basically on permanent hiatus now and it sucks.
