Okay so in the light of the living room it doesn't look as huge a score as one may think. However, allow me to walk you through.

The horde. Almost everything you see here is unobtanium, aside from the owners manual.

My drivers inner doorhandle plastic is absolutely destroyed. This will be perfect.

A set of pristine black door panels. And what look like weather strips are original, unrotted, still pliable, still with the trim stripe on them, roof molding strips. I can install these tomorrow, theyre that soft. What the gently caress.

This may look like a crusty piece of poo poo but what you see my friends is the rarest part of the evening. What you see here is a 1973-1975 US two barrel early style civic 1200 carburetor.

And some different tails because why not.

Is that a challenge?
I drove our ~5 year old company Jetta the other day and couldn't believe how bad the visibility was even vs. a car from 2001. On the plus side I could put the seat far back enough for my legs, but I was then sat in-line with the b-pillar and could see poo poo all out of the side. The jumbo pillars and high belt line make it feel like I was driving a pillbox around.

I bought the smalles car I could afford. :( anything smaller increases exponentially with any decrease in dimensions. Heres a recap from the thread, didnt you just order a new Ram also?

Holy poo poo. This summer at Iola, there was a poo poo brown and seemingly rust free z600 in the car corral for much less than that.

But this is the Midwest/Rustbelt so it makes sense - everything is very deeply hosed up.

A rotted to poo poo muscle or pony car is unaffordable. And nobody wants a clean old Honda.

Try this:

Wheelbase 2,301–2,324 mm (90.6–91.5 in)
Length 3,680–3,745 mm (145–147 in)
3,850 mm (152 in) (Van)

Height 1,370–1,395 mm (54–55 in)
Curb weight 695–750 kg (1,532–1,653 lb)

For a 78-84 Toyota Starlet. And it's front engine, RWD to boot, so much more space eaten up by drivetrain than either the Beetle or Civic.

Also, the fuel injected DOHC 115 HP Corolla GT-S/MR2 engine bolts in pretty easy. :getin: (stock Starlet power was 58 HP)

I think we have a new insane project for our good friend Officer 13".

People have done very, very silly things to that era of Starlet (note the distorted tires in the pictures, especially #90) but I see no Hondas of that era on that list.

Also mine was rusty and missing all the interior bits.
