I was reading the bungie.net forums and in the midst of all the filth they actually have a nice idea. "Can't afford the DLC? Let us buy it for you". It may sound stupid, you need a $10 account to post here and a expensive system to play it, but it's the holiday season so what the heck I might as well offer. Post why you can't afford Destiny and/or the DLC and I'll buy it for you, up to $200 total spending from me. PM me if you don't want to discuss your personal life publicly. I enjoy this game and want you to too. Phorrm/Ularg, how far are you from 31 or 32? You can get to 32 from vendor stuff, right? 30: 120 31: 132 32: 144 edit: Forgot vendor pieces are +33, not +36. edit: How does light progression work for 33/36 max light gear? The old patterns were: quote:Regular Legendary armor starts at +18 light and fully upgrades to +27 light. It takes 5 armor upgrades to get there (+2, +2, +1, +2, +2) with the final 3 costing 6 ascendant shards each. Maybe you can update the OP once we get the answer. I have 26 light with one Upgrade Defense on my +33 vendor piece. I'm guessing it's still (+2, +2, +1, +2, +2)? edit: It can't be the same for exotics, as they start at 30. So 3 nodes with +2 each? My main bottleneck is either marks, commendations or helium filaments. Out of all the new items I have gotten, only two of them take something other than Helium. My warlock has a new primary, secondary and heavy. My Titan has a primary and heavy, same as my hunter. They all have murmur too but it's not even at 300 attack because of Eris. I still need to do the bridge part of Crota's End on my warlock. And since he's 31 he can take a shot at the next part too if everyone else is 31. I'd like to still do hard mode VoG for shards, energy. Hopefully get exotics to shard or a monte carlo to hopefully upgrade from Xur. Here's hoping Xur rules this week. I have 100 Motes of light saved up if he sells an engram (he loving better). I understand the first two parts of the raid almost perfectly now, I just need the energy to make a writeup and maybe some more images. So if anyone has screenshots of the raid please share them. Either to show off the map/arenas or cool stylistic screenshots. You can PM them to me and give you credit in one of the OP posts if you want. I've just been a little overwhelmed by the pve bounties lately. Since they've doubled and Eris has some really strange bounties. I mean, loving shoulder charge Wizards? Who the gently caress thought of that? Not to mention I've been trying to get crucible marks and I have not had a single decent experience in crucible since Iron Banner ended. It seems like I only get matched against premades. Opponents better than me and teammates worse than me. Along with the bullshit packet loss that makes every fight a loving handicap. I mean how the gently caress would you feel if you ran in front of a dude charging his fusion rifle and his bullets literally curved to hit you as you ran past his sight. Then when you use a fusion rifle you can never one-shot anyone no matter how many shots connect or how much impact you have. Seriously, the fusion rifle thing. I have Praetorian's Foil, Plan C, Light/Beware, Wizard 77 and the Iron Banner fusion rifle. Not a single one of them can I get a consistent one-shot kill with, no matter how many of the shots connect per burst. Edit: Out of helium filaments again. But I got a new Helm of Saint-14 fully upgraded that I got from Nightfall, dismantled the old one. Ended up spending nothing extra. With bounties I got the helm fully upgraded in 1.5 days. Weapons take way longer for sure but you just got to remember to use them wherever you can. It reminds me of a bug I read on Reddit. Where the XP you get from the daily story mission doesn't apply to your weapons you have equipped. I never noticed that. And that's bullshit. A blue engram gave me upgraded Astrolord gauntlets! And I bought the vanguard greaves too. Too bad I only have 11 shards so hitting 31 for Sunday is impossible anyway. Have we figured out if upgraded exotics like this Ice Breaker that dropped in the Crota raid level up faster or not like Bungie said? It's the exact same upgrade path at the least.
