So, with all this talk about ordering the MM or MH Nu3DS in the US of A, where do the good old Europeans order theirs? On the UK, neither Amazon, Nintendo's own web store, or GAME seem to have them, and the UK's usually the first to get stuff so I haven't even bothered checking some of the other countries. NOE at least twitted what faceplates we are getting:  I find it amusing the faceplates are on the right position, but the limited edition XLs are facing the wrong way. I am weak. Sending it off to Amazon for trade-in and I will call Nintendo later about transferring NNID. Looked through my saves and really things are either done or I forgot what the heck I needed to do by now. Got a 3ds USB cable that can plug in to any USB charger at home so can live without the adapter.

Create a bunch of new accounts saying you're selling the MM XL for retail and bring the price back down. Easy peasy. But does anyone know how much data is moved over a system transfer if the majority of data is held on the SD card? It shouldn't be that data-demanding to do it over a tethered phone, right?

Just took my lunch break to go to and back to/from the only Gamestop in the area that still had a preorder available when i called, and they were out by the time I got there. God dammit. : (

When it comes down to it Nintendo should be to blame for the ebay scalping because Nintendo only makes a very limited run of those collector's edition systems and scalpers know this. Nintendo should either make enough of them available to discourage the scalpers or don't make the collector's edition systems at all.

No one's actually said it was GameStop exclusive right? I heard it was up on the Canadian Amazon page (and sold out) but it must have went down because it didn't turn up in search results. I'm just holding out hope that somewhere else gets it in stock since Majora's Mask is one of my all-time favorites and I really like this design.

So I just spent all my money on a WiiU last weekend, I can't afford an N3DS any time soon. MH4U and Xenoblade are all I'm really interested in, can I still play them on my normal 3DS? If so what will I be missing out on?

I haven't followed MH4u so I'll let someone else say for sure, but I think you can use that on your old 3DS, it just might be awkward with controls.

Oh here we go. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on New 3DS will have "enhanced graphics", C-stick controls, and allow you to customize what the ZL and ZR shoulder buttons do.

Nintendo Store opens preorders for this thing tomorrow at 9am. I think the best bet at this point is gently caress gamestop and go there; and ask if they do in store xfers, put the preorder in there and then try my luck selling it on Craigslist and hope I don't get shived with a sharpened copy of Syphon Filter.
