This is my first, and I am so entertained, so good stuff guys! Maybe it's just Geop's tone of voice, but somehow I get an even more MST3k vibe from this than I do from Retsupurae.

I might have to go back and watch it, even though it's like fifty million updates or something.

Yeah, like, that bit where Geop discovered the bonfire near Andre probably wouldn't have happened as soon as it did if Vicas didn't admit to Geop that there was a bonfire past those three hollows that killed him.

I mean even from a basic combat standpoint, looking at geop's gameplay in ds1, then woolie from 2bfp and his first time through ds2, one got the hang of it pretty fast, the other was still struggling by the end of it

Well the other thing of course is that Geop is actually legit good at games He has pretty solid spatial perception, shape recognition and reaction speed. He also possesses tons of patience and is willing to take it slow and steady which is the most rewarding play style in Dark Souls by a long shot. I expect that by the end of NEO SURF MASTERS HD Geop will be quite adept as well; he's usually pretty good at whatever game he's LPing by the end.

Yeah, got a feelin he'll do well in this game too. Since imo, mechanically sword and board dark souls plays a lot like the 3d zeldas.

Overall it was a pretty engaging experience. And Groose is indeed the best.

Skyward Sword had amazing visuals, controls, sound, etc. The biggest problem is that the game overstayed its welcome and then some. The world was already saved by Zelda in the past so everyone's quite happy to gently caress with Link and make him jump through so many hoops. Also it had Fi in it, and Scrapper. Also, the Lute was such a pathetic magical instrument. Strum to make Fi

For real, Skyward Sword's visual style was absolutely amazing, as was the music, and in terms of personality it's second only to Wind Waker. Really, I had two issues with it other than Fi's overbearing personality: The overly gimmicky controls, and the fact that they totally missed an opportunity by including a "master quest" NG+ option where you play as Zelda/Impa, seeing as how all Link does in that game is show up everywhere five minutes after they left.
