One of the guys I watched the game with rooted against the Patriots because Edelman hosed his roommate's girlfriend in college. That made everyone else root for him harder.

If Seattle lost a crushing Super Bowl last year and then came within inches of winning and then lost again, I would feel pretty awful. But we still did get our 1st SB victory recently, and I still I imagine we will be competitive for another 2-3 seasons be before things start to fall apart. The NFC West is still weak, with the only competition being Arizona depending on how well Carson Palmer recovers. I could see us going 12-4 next year, with our losses probably coming against Green Bay, Baltimore, Dallas and probably that away game against the Rams, since we always seem to have trouble in St. Louis.
