It used to turn into A&E in the evenings. It was pretty jarring because back then A&E was actually the sort of stuffy British poo poo the name suggests and Nickelodeon looked more like Canadian PsyOps experiment.

the highlight of 1985 as far as I was concerned until we went to Disney World Les Lye was very cool and answered everybody's questions, even the stupid ones, Lisa said that she and Moose weren't really enemies but it was fun to tease each other, and Alasdair said they kept buckets of green slime and water up in the light rigging to keep you on your toes. They were just so darn polite.
