Yay we get to have our own augmented arm! A good start! B. Have the bodies of the Augmented fallen sent to the Mechanicus over our Praetorians.

Sweet! We're gonna get a robo-arm! And I vote A. Yes, what's going to happen to the kids is sad, but our people need to come first.

hahaaa That's what "WE'RE A ROGUE TRADER!! REPUTATION! " gets you A - sell the kids to the mechanicus. They've probably already been indoctrinated into laser-worship and won't get along with the Augmented.

A. Sorry kids, but why would you live here if you didn't want to be meat-robots?

I don't know, it seems to me there would be significantly more adults than children around for the Mechanicus. Of course they have been worshiping a false god and would be in significant troubles for that alone..

B. I think the Praetorians will understand that this isn't a common occurrence right? Riiiiight? Edit: Quite glad I caught up in time to weigh in on this one.

A. We have a business deal, we can't be held back from it by squeamishness. The Augmented will recover their own ranks in a few decades, they'll be fine.

C- as B but not giving up the praetorian bodies. If there will be a small shortage we will buy prisoners. Lanky Coconut Tree posted:The faster the augmented replenish their ranks the faster they start making even more money for us

We don't even know if they want them. They might not have the space, time or augmetics available to deal with a sudden influx of youth. Besides, children are cheap, we can buy them some of those wherever once we have a ship.

I don't much like it, but A. Life is cheap, and heretical space-brats don't really matter. Even their own High Priestess didn't really care much, so why should we?

I assume that the augmented can make their own still? At any rate, they need space to mine, need to set up a new base, so yeah, children are a distraction. Although a children's creche does give a bonus to growth and efficiency.
