This is a perfect example of the nonsensical booking WCW was succumbing to all throughout 1998. La Parka is already Chairman of WCW; why should he wrestle for a mere heavyweight belt? At least they're actually putting him on TV instead of writing him off like they did with Flair, their other top star.

If there's a ton of demand it can be shown down the line but I remember absolutely hating that match because of the finish.
