I always dug heel Sheamus in the WWECW days. I liked when he carried a pipe around and would wreck HHH with it. There have definitely been instances of bloody hell, wanker, sodding, etc. There's been the occasional vine of Paige calling the Bellas slags. Bushwhackers dropped buggering last week. I get the impression WWE knows they can get away with those on US TV.

Just imagine Bryan and Nakamura co-headlining with AJ and Seth wrestling to a draw in the main. An interpromotional PPV would be the absolute raddest poo poo that could happen in modern wrestling and it 100% would never happen. Vince wouldn't have the balls. Reverse psychology works and Vince reads PSP, right?

it's less vince "not having the balls" i think and more that wwe often likes to pretend that wrestling doesn't exist outside of it, and the fact that they have no major competition and will more or less always do steady business by being the only game in town means they don't have to take risks. the only time wwe willingly did interpromotional stuff was when they were getting stomped by nitro and were doing anything to drum up interest.
