Maybe hire refs who aren't legally blind? Stop being willfully dense.

I thought the Pens played a pretty good period but of course they can't score and one mistake is in the back of their net.

Also Rick Nash threw his head back like he got decapitated there. The Pens should start doing that too every time a stick is near them because they're pretty bad at getting on the powerplay.

I dunno man, it's pretty hard to see those back teeth. I think we need a ruling from Toronto on this.

Good period by the Rangers. Pens forecheck has been better than in game 1 and gave them some trouble early on.

JT Miller and the 'MURICA line has been great.

The refs will just call them for diving and give the Rangers more PPs.

Man I really miss Letang even though he would also pass too much.

Also just for something funny, I found out that even on easy be a rookie mode of NHL 14 that the Flyers will still crush the Penguins at Consol if you try simulating the game.

Not taking another 4 bad penalties would be good too, but mainly they need to score. If MAF can hold it to 1-2 goals in a game even with the lovely D, the offense needs to be able to put up points. I know that not having Letang sucks for getting the D involved, but you have loving Crosby and Malkin, if you can't figure out how to come up with a strategy that allows them to score, you should not be coaching in the NHL.

So I actually missed the first period but judging from the SOG it seems like the Pens have discovered the time honored tradition of "we're out skilled so let's shut everything down and play a defensive shell and turn this game into a snoozefest and hope we get lucky"

They started strong for like 7 minutes then let in a bad goal and took 2 penalties

Also, commit a lot of penalties because the Rangers are bad at power plays.
