Huh that's the capricious Gods of fate I guess. I thought for sure that retarded thread about giving absurd amounts of money to a presidential candidate with no chance was going to win because I saw it both highly rated and consistently on the first page. Given that this week's voting was pretty sparse, and there were a couple of threads that just barely missed the cutoff, I've decided to give prizes to Pick and Zev. And for the next contest I'll consider high-rated threads that were created the weekend before, since those are somewhat at a disadvantage.
