They were in the AFC Championship game last year and they improved their team a lot in the offseason. Their main competition in the AFC is the Patriots who got worse in the offseason and will be without Brady for some period of time. I'm happy to unravel any other football mysteries for you guys.

Andrew Luck is also probably going to be even better this year because Andrew Luck.

Let me play devil's advocate and say they start 1-3, and then lose maybe two or three more games with Brady back, they could still end 10-6 and miss the playoffs. Especially if the Dolphins don't dolph and the Bills and Jets defense actually lives up to their hype.

The Texans defense really started clicking toward the end of the season and was unreal and has gotten better in the offseason and will pick up where it left off and Clowney is going to come back 100% of his former self and Mallett is going to break out for a 4000 yard 30 TD 12 INT season and I'm going to wake up lying face down in my tear-soaked pillow and refuse to turn my head away from it and embrace the sweet release of death

Actually I would not be at all surprised if the Texans had a year of surprising competence from one of their trash heap QBs and reached the AFCCG only to have their poo poo kicked in by the Colts who go on to win the Superbowl and then regression to 2013 Schaub levels the following season
