Well, this is a bad situation for us. The whole seduction play seems mind-blowingly stupid. How could Clover possibly expect this to work?

I don't know, the whole seduction thing kinda makes sense to me since it's pretty well established to Clover and others that Sigma is a total shameless lecher. If she's that desperate to get out then she might as well use any method to get the result she wants.
