it's weird how he has to physically touch a person to mimic him/her, but only in the most marginal way possible. like, that security guard at the nuthouse stepped on him with his shoes, and he's able to map the guy's body right down to the hairs on his head? he should at least have to touch a titty or some butt skin or something.

My friend had an idea for a movie where they send back on Terminator every day since the day Sarah Connor was born. That way if the first one fucks up, the next day there are two, then three. I'm currently a terminator sent by skynet to shitpost on the internet. i'll try answering some question since there seems to be a lot of anti-skynet propaganda going on here *no time travelling nukes because skynet will be build in LA, he can't destroy it and all his future makers with it *skynet sent all terminators at the same time. he knew exactly where john Connor was, so he sent his best machine after him. The info on Sarah Connor was very bad and vague, so he sent his second best machine after her. they arrived years apart only from your perspective. *the poly mimetic terminator is designed and optimized for a specific body form. he can mimic other bodies, but will perform much worse while doing so. he tries to use his optimal bodyshape as much as possible *scans of a bodiea are performed by running currents through the skin an measure resistance gradients. just like you body fat scale does to tell you how fat you are.

The way I justified it was that it was easier to restore back to his Robert Patrick default every time he has to regrow his head or whatever. It's probably easier on his neural net cpu processor, since you can see he has to stand still for a few seconds every time he turns into a completely different person and not because they probably couldn't do that morph effect with a moving camera back in 1991.
