Watch Honma's next program be Ishii getting his win back, it's what they did with Ishii in 2013

Have they already had intermission?

[Edit]^^^^ this is the second match post-intermission, first was Mao-chan's handler vs Honma. Elgin, I feel your hairline issues bruh. Also Elgin vs Ishii is what (in theory) I want from NJPW most. Give it to me.

is it wrong to peg Naito and Elgin as the guys who had their stock rise the most after G-1 from their respective blocks

They went from headbutts and lariats to a chestbump!

At least they did better with him than Shibata or loving Ibushi, who is supposed to be the next big thing. A block!

ayn rand hand job posted:is it wrong to peg Naito and Elgin as the guys who had their stock rise the most after G-1 from their respective blocks Makes sense to me. Naito had a bit of a weak end but still beat both Tana and AJ and seems more interesting than he's ever been in the company. I was one of those people who were kinda down on Elgin's inclusion and holy poo poo am I happy to be wrong. Aside from the Honma match Ishii was the opposite of Naito. He lost to Nakamura and the two champions and beat everyone else.

I think it would be pretty hilarious (though maybe a pretty terrible booking idea) if Anderson won and then went nuts trying to interfere in Nakamura/Okada so there had to be some kind of run-off match for the final spot.

Shinsuke definitely hasn't been at his best in this tournament thanks to the injury, but that Goto match showed he can still put on a good one and let's hope this delivers.
