Sterling really needed to hit it hard and near post there. His one vs one finishing has always been suspect though. United were right to sell RvP and DI Maria imo. The former would have been on horrendous wages and was clearly not the player he was (also only likely to have more injury issues) and the latter clearly didn't want to be there. The fact that PSG were offering so much for a player that had come off such a bad season made it an even easier decision to sell.
