THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR, ETERNALLY SEEKING THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE TO TEST HIS MIGHT. If he debuted today, they could have fun with it and play it up like Ultimate comics Thor, who truly believed himself to be the god of thunder and was super pompous about it but everyone else though he was just some weird probably-insane hippie guy. Ya know, until he actually ends up really being Thor, god of thunder.
