The Bucks game started like this, and everyone kept chanting "Let them play" and hey, they seemed to tone it down a bit. Still a lot of fouls, but it was ridiculous at the beginning.

I guess the refs are trying to assert their authority and settle things down before the season. The preseason is also their warmup to I suppose.
