Empathy isn't just for fags who cry a lot it's a form of intelligence that allows you to examine the motives of people who are not the same person as you are. Seeing things from the point of view of someone who has sex is a lot to ask of goons and doubly so for someone whose job is sex and not for example computers. I'm not a cop but my old job put me in contact with a lot of them and they all had the traditional paladin-like hatred and zeal against perceived rapists. Additionally I'm not sure you idiots understand the relationship the police have to cases going to court. In a rape case 99% of the time what they do is drive the victim to a hospital for the kit and take a report. The DA decides if the case is going to be charged or not and this is usually based on if the case is winable.
