burger time pays 1 Gold for placing Hire Monster first, since I forgot it.

Production Phase hits.

Broken Loose uses the Magic Room once.
Tekopo does not produce anything.
burger time produces one Gold.
Istvun uses the Printing Press.

Tekopo is now the first player.

Two rooms are drawn: Labyrinth, Training Room.
Three monsters are drawn: Dragon, Golem, Slime.
The upcoming Event is revealed as Desertion: Each player loses all Imps that did no work this round.
Adventurers are drawn.

The event this round is Taxes.

That adventurer lineup. Payday last is a prick in the second year too, but the expensive monsters are all coming out early anyway. I'm liking Burger Time's position here except for that, getting another monster to clean up after the demon is going to take up a lot of actions.

Desertion is usually a non-event, unlike that loving expansion card that kills an imp for each person more evil than you plus one more for good measure. That thing destroys games.

I actually still don't own Festival Season. I bought the base game and then suddenly Anniversary Editions actually came into stock everywhere around me.

I could probably run it if someone kind were to knock me up some resources, though.

burger time pays an Evil for 3 Food, pays 1 Gold for a Trap, pays 2 Evil and 2 Food for a Dragon, and activates his room twice for 2 Gold. He then pays 3 Gold in taxes, taking no demerits.
Istvun mines 2 Gold. He then pays 1 Gold in taxes, taking 1 Demerit.
Broken Loose pays 2 Evil for 3 Food, 1 Gold. He receives a trap but immediately tosses it, plus a Food and a Gold, for a Golem. His room activations give a total of 2 Food, 1 Imp. He then pays 3 Gold in taxes, taking no demerits.

Istvun has the option of which card to pull back.

Good question. I guess I would need a) graphics for anything likely to pop up on the board (base board / monsters / rooms), then b) card text + card count (i.e. 5 x Trap 1, 2 x Trap 2...) for anything else.
