Well, I'm the kind of person that rode my bike to work this morning and took a nice look at the pretty colors in the sunrise and was amazed that that existed, too, because I don't take existing for granted. You don't have to stare slackjawed and unmoving to marvel at things. Wonder is an emotion like anger or sadness. You can feel it a lot without giving in and letting it overwhelm you.
