Just watched the first two episodes of this. Was kinda on the fence after episode one, but if the whole series is mostly goofy, slice-of-life one-offs like episode two then I'm definitely on board.

It seems odd to say after an episode featuring so many nosebleeds, but there's just something really honest-feeling about the youthful exuberance and innocence of the characters in this show. Maybe it's because there are, for all intents and purposes, no adult characters (You-san is basically an overgrown 8 year old, after all) against which to measure the kids playing shopkeeper, but the atmosphere is just flawlessly crafted. I just hope that a good translation eventually comes for it. Death seems to miss some of the characterization (Dagashi-tachi), Marxist adds unnecessary characterization, and Heartpound only just recently released the first episode.
