I confess that I actually enjoyed playing the 3rd Birthday. I liked the music and the overdive feature. The damage sponge bosses were kind of annoying though, at least until you unlock good equipment

The Senran rhythm game would have been better without the ice cream scenes after every time you ace a song. In a game that already feels terribly gratuitous with the titties, those were pretty skeevy while adding yet another screen to load inbetween songs.

On Vita stuff: Steinsgate prices dropped. 30$ and 25$ for Vita and PS3 respectively, so get in on that if you haven't yet. Also Tactics Ogre for 10$ is absolutely worth it; as is Vagrant Story for 3$ (yes, it works on Vita).

Ugh, got an 8 bit mem card headed to my local Game stop for roughly $20. Why the gently caress are these things so expensive? Also are Soul Sacrifice and Freedom Wars any good?

Soul Sacrifice Delta is arguably the best hunting action game on the platform. Freedom Wars is fun but marred by a really slow start and probably one of the worst hunting action crafting systems.

The touch mechanics aren't the best but they're serviceable for the early part of the game. I've heard it gets harder to use as the difficulty gets higher but I haven't gotten far enough to confirm this. I don't regret buying it but it's not nearly as good as the original game.
