fsif posted:Oh come on, is Cleveland THAT much worse than every other team? They're in a very tough division which means they'd probably need a wild card slot for the post season, which is hard to get because they're in a very tough division. Then add in that they're in a very tough conference (half of all Super Bowls have either the Broncos, Steelers, or Pats as the AFC slot). Then add in the uncertainty regarding their coaching staff. Then add in their historic failures.

More importantly: 30/1 Buffalo? The gently caress? They apparently have a better chance of winning than the GIANTS?!

Oakland's a value bet is what I get out of that. I mean it probably won't happen but I could see them over a lot of teams with better odds.

Jacksonville and Oakland at 50-1 are both nice value bets

I'm super depressed about Marshawn Lynch retiring, I understand why and it's probably better to quit when you're still mostly healthy, but it's still sad.

maybe bradford's receivers aren't good because its hard to develop wr talent when the qb is a garbage man. but you never know.

I think they should make two rule changes and balance them out to maintain the competitive balance - they should expand the definition of a catch so that stuff like that Cotchery not-catch and other borderline examples err on the side of being catches, and they allow a little more contact by DBs to make up for the advantage the offense gets by getting more catches. This whole "what is a catch" thing that we do nearly every week is an embarrassment to the sport. Normal people think it's weird and inexplicable, and they're right. We need a rule change, and we need something to balance it out. I think my idea works.
